Widebody kits & wide arch styling

Widebody styling extends the bodywork around the wheels through wide arches, wider fenders or an associated bodywork package. WALD applications vary substantially: some use replacement arch sections, while others combine fenders with bumper, side and rear components.

The applications below are included because their recorded programme names or component lists explicitly identify widebody, wide arch or wide fender parts. Photographs or a Black Bison badge alone are not treated as evidence of a widebody kit.

The Toyota Supra Sports Line Wide Body Version lists a bonnet and front fender kit together with rear fenders and other styling components. Its published notes include modification and cutting requirements. The separate non-wide-body Supra programme must not be treated as the same package.

Other examples include the Lexus LX600 / LX700h wide arch package, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class W463A Black Bison wide arch package and the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 ZX programme. Width changes, included pieces and required accompanying components differ; consult each application rather than applying a single measurement to all vehicles.

An extended arch does not establish which wheel will fit. Diameter, width, offset, tyre dimensions, brake clearance and the actual bodywork configuration must be assessed for the individual vehicle. Images of a completed conversion illustrate a project, not universal fitment approval.
