WALD International is a design-led automotive styling company from Japan, recognised internationally for complete conversion programmes that redefine the character of prestigious vehicles.
Philosophy
Enhance, never obscure
WALD works in harmony with the original design concept, redefining and enhancing a vehicle’s body lines to create a more aggressive, dynamic and distinctive appearance. The intention is never to disguise the vehicle beneath, but to draw out the presence the designers implied.
That discipline is what separates a WALD conversion from a collection of aftermarket parts. Each programme is developed as a complete design study for one vehicle, with exterior styling, wheels, exhaust and interior options resolved together.
For customers in the United Kingdom and Europe, that same discipline continues through installation. Every conversion is fitted by highly trained technicians at Premier Auto Design or through its network of approved dealers.
Design principles
Four constants in every programme
Proportion
Every WALD programme begins with the vehicle's existing architecture. Width, height and visual mass are adjusted with restraint so the result reads as a considered evolution rather than an addition.
Aerodynamics
Front spoilers, side steps, rear skirts and diffusers are developed to manage airflow and settle the car visually, lowering its perceived centre of gravity.
Materials
Component construction is specified for finish quality, panel stability and long-term durability, with carbon detailing applied where it serves the design.
Fitment
Panel gaps, mounting points and surface transitions are engineered to original-equipment tolerances. Precision of fit is the clearest signal of a genuine WALD conversion.
